Hello all.
First off, this is not an attempt for a pitty party, nor am I asking for money. But I wanted to let you all know why I’ve been slacking at the comic. My car, my beautiful 2001 pt cruiser is sick. The last thing you want to hear when your car starts *coughing* is the word Transmission. However that is what ills my car. So most of my time and energy have been gear’d tward my car, and what to do next. Pay for the transmission, trade it in, or run it to the ground.
But I hope that this three day weekend will be what I need to just relax and enjoy working on writing, and drawing more strips.
I have fun making this comic, and I want you to enjoy reading it.
So even though Iam a bit lax at updating, I appreate the people that still visit and drop me some support.

Iam running a contest! I need a new slogan or phrase that would best represent youmeandsteve. This is something I want to use on future promotional items such as website banners for project wonderful. If you have any ideas email them to me, enter as many as you like. Can you beat “I promise youmeandsteve may or may not be funny” “yms is better then pms” The winner will get a signed sketchbook and a sketch card of any character they want. (tv,movies, or comic book)

I have to admit It sucks, but fear not Youmeandsteve will return. With that said, I too, like a few other artist/creators out there, have to take a few days to get things in order.
Following the likes of F chords and Butternutsquash (perhaps two of my top five favorite webcomic out there.) I too will put youmeandsteve on hold. But not for long. I want to build a buffer. I’d rather have a regularly scheduled post, then a half ass hit or miss once a or twice a week strip. I am looking to be back shortly after the new year.
I can’t promise that once the strip returns that it will have better art, or a clearer story. But I can say that I will be less random with the updates, I want to produce the best work I can with monday, wednesday, and friday updates.
I hope to see you all then.
